Early Warning...I might be off for awhile...

Just thought I would give you all a heads up. I am not abandoning the blog world and all my old, as well as new friends. But if I disappear for awhile, I will be back.

With all the hospital trips (3 for him, 2 for me) in the last couple of months, we are running a little long on expenses. So if I can't convince the our internet provider to give us a little break, they will turn it off before our next payday at the first of the month.

So if I don't see you around; just know I am missing you all and counting the days until I'm back on.

Oh yes, does anyone out there have a spell I can cast over the bills to make them disappear, or at least shrink???

I seem to be flooded with them lately. Thank goodness I learned to swim when I was a younger. Come to think of it a boat might be in order too.

Now where did I put those life-jackets?

Does your library have free use of computers? you could use theirs to stay connected. I know what you mean about hospital bills, there's the ER bill, the ambulance bill, the radiologists bill and a doctor bill, four bills for one trip. I told them I could only pay $25 a month, the ambulance, radiologist, and doctor said fine, the hospital said they'd have to get it approved and wanted me fill out a lengthy credit app? and then they wanted to know what I owned, age and number of cars, etc. then they wanted me to sign a promisory note, I didn't fill out anything or sign anything and am just sending the $25 a month. They were quite rude too. I should have listed my three cats and my husband as my only assets and sent it in to them, darn I missed my opportunity. Hang in there. If you can find a pool and float on your back it's very relaxing, even soaking in a bathtub of warm water helps, reading and cuddling my cats takes my mind off things too.

I hope things look up for you soon. I hate, hate, hate hospitals. I'd sooner be taken to jail than a hospital. I'll be thinking of you.

We'll be here when you get back. Best of luck. I know medical emergencies can be draining- physically & financially. Do the best you can. Take care if yourself.

Theres just life said...

Linda, Hi. Our nearest town is 8 miles away and even as small as they are they do, so I guess I could just write up my post then go their to type them in. I know what you mean about the bills too. Only they didn't know what was going on so we both had at minimum 5 different doctors and quite a number of Cat scans and other tests. Though I must say I did like the pictures of the tropical fish the radiology department had on their ceiling. No pool but we do have a creek near our home. I think I'll go wading.

Miranda, At least you can get a full nights sleep at the jail.

Toll House Cookie, Just typing that makes me feel better (Yum). Thank you very much. As they say this too shall pass.

Laura, Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU. I can't say it enough.

Brooke, She may be small, but my little Stormy Weather is solid. I think she'll get us through.

Stacy, Thank you. Hopefully I can sweet talk them into leaving us up. I'm trying to take care of myself, and Jack is making sure of it.

Dunkin' Donuts has free wifi ... past the Starbuckian offerings, most McDonald's are adding that in -- "Would you like fries and wifi with that burger?" < That's my quick knowledge to keep your spirits above how the blues grab'atcha . . .

Now, for the heavier stuff -- Glinda of Oz would tell you it's always in you, always was. It's *trust* vs cope, *empower* vs hope. You've already shown that by how you just spoke your heart's spirited mind. That'll soar you well. I'm sending prayers/energies, but have noticed your art'work. Real nice stuff - bet it's marketable in a world that needs fresh colours of spunk.

Blessings be,
~ Absolutely*Kate, still touched by what you said on my last Ziegfeld Goil - but more so now, on what you valiantly spoke on your reality
