Christmas Time is Here...

Christmas isn't Christmas with out seeing your favorite specials and movies.
One of my all time favorite cartoons is "A Charlie Brown Christmas".  The reason is Linus's explanation of what Christmas is.  Here it is.  Put on you warm holiday PJs fix yourself a cup of hot cocoa or eggnog and enjoy...

What are your favorite Christmas special?  The antimated specials that remind you of Christmas as a child, the movies your family gathered around to watch, or the musical and varity specials.
What makes Christmas complete for you?

I love Charlie Brown Christmas and taught my classroom (3's) part of Linus' speech.

I'll be doing a post about my favorite things to watch during this season, which will include this and T'was the Night Before Christmas.

Thanks for making me nostalgic and warm inside!

Thank you WC. I will be looking for your post. I love this time of year. Though I have been known to slip the DVDs into the player year-round to relive the feelings.

Charlie Brown is a darling. And absolutely poppet.

Don't have a Christmas special as such (grew up without a TV, so no movie memories of the festival), but I love hearing carols on the radio.

PJ, Charlie Brown was very popular during my time...funny enough my kids grew up holding blankets too!
We are put into X-Mas mood very early here: decorations and music in shopping malls, lights on the street, and all TV Channels with X-Mas songs every now and then, till X-Mas!

Hi Rayna, I love the carols as well. And now you can catch up on all the animated special as well. Enjoy.
Hi Grandpa, I know it seems the Christmas decorations come out earlier every year. Now that I no longer work retail, I love to see them in the malls.

I'm afraid I haven't been in the Christmas spirit for the last couple of years...I need to work on ramping the pressure down. :)

Laura, I know what you mean. Welcome to the season of manic depression, high highs and low lows. The stress can really kill the season for you.And White Christmas just doesn't work when you live where it doesn't snow. Hope you can destress and enjoy the season. Sending love and joy your way.
