AHHH!!! My Muses are at war....

Sorry I haven't posted, but it seems my Muses are at war with each other. It's not that they aren't giving me any ideas. They are... lots of them....all at once.

Before I get a chance to write one down completely, another gets thrown at me. Everyone wants to be first. They are throwing their ideas so fast a furious that all I get is a great big wall of words that don't make any sense.

There was something about a book, a party, rain, dogs, crocheting...I even think Dracula was in there somewhere.

See what happens when you take time off. Now if I can just get them to take turns, I will be set for a while.

HEY...What did I say about shoving. Get back in line...NO single file....

This may take a while. Wish me luck...

I wonder if he ever had this problem?

I often have that problem too. Usually one will win the shouting match if I focus hard enough. LOL!

Theres just life said...

Karen, if I can catch one I will.
Laura, I guess I just need to watch the match and see who wins.

This is like one of those short story challenges. How on earth am I going to get a book, a party, rain, dogs, crocheting and Dracula into the same tale?

Don't let Dracula take over - he'll suck the others dry.

Oh... I sure know what you're talking about! I type up a short synopsis and file it in my "Random Thoughts" folder. It's the only way I've found to get 'em back in line :) Good luck!

I have this problem all the time. I put them all in my SIN folder..Shiny Ideas New...lol, and after a while, the muses behave.

sometimes I have this problem too, I have so many ideas I don't know which one to work on, it can be very disconcerting and disabling. I probably need to start putting them in my journal so they won't be lost I've neglected that aspect for a while.
