I have been searching the real estate ads again. Still trying to get to the mountains, especially after all this heat. I found these ads, no I can't afford it but I had to look anyway.
This got me to thinking of the difference between modern and traditional architecture. Most people love one and hate the other. There are also people who have their favorite, but can appreciate them both. Which one are you?
Check out the differences....
The outside...
The living room with a fireplace...
The kitchen...
The bedroom...
The yards...
Of course they both have something in common....
Mountain views!!!!
Me, I am more the traditional romantic kind of person. That and a pack rat. I just don't fit those clean lines.
Oh and by the way both of these are for sale in the Sanoma Valley Area of California. Even if I won the lottery I couldn't afford them.
My life is anything but normal. Then who's is. To get through this life I try to see the funny side of things. This is not a political commentary. My cardiologist says I need to avoid stress. Beside dealing with the government has taught me to curse like a sailor, and I'm trying to clean up my act. Oh if your trying to practice for the spelling bee, don't count on my help, I'm a horrible speller. THANK GOD for spell check. Now, if I would remember to use it.

Rough couple of weeks...
Sorry I haven't been posting, but it has been a rough couple of weeks.
My father passed away on July 5th, and his memorial service was the following Tuesday.
Then on Wednesday, I had to take Jack (my fiance) to the ER. They intern transferred him to a bigger hospital an hour from our home. Where he still is undergoing a lot of tests.
So I have been running from hospital to home to check on things and back again. I'm pretty sure I passed myself at least a couple of times on the road.
Hopefully. Things will settle back down soon, and I can get back on schedule. Now would be a great time to have an IPad or a Kindle. Then I could stay up on my reading and writing without losing my pen or my book every 5 minutes....
I try to catch you all up soon. I am getting a lot of material and research done on hospitals, that's for sure.

Let Freedom Ring...
Just think the fireworks that started in 1775 at Lexington and Concord....
And re-ignited in 1812....
Would lead to these fireworks 236 years later....
Happy Birthday United States of America!!!
You may not be perfect but you are my home and that makes you perfect to me....
