K is for Kindle...

It seems like everywhere I go on the web people are talking about the Kindle from Amazon. Some with love and adoration. Some with suspension and loathing. So what kind of person are you.

Is this your idea library...

Or is this more to your liking...

When you travel would you rather carry this...

Or this...

Would you rather shop here for your books...

Or here....

Forget the book. Anyone know where I can order the body???

   What would I like???

   How about both.

I love the idea of curling up in a library with a good book and fire. But the beach thing is very tempting too.

Going on a trip, even if it is to the doctors office, I would prefer the kindle. (And so would my back!!!)

Nothing beats a good book store. The smell, the excitement of finding a new treasure. Talking about the books and authors.  But ordering it online in your pajamas when you are still awake at 3:30 in the morning sounds real good too. Of course you could order the hardcover and paperback books then as well, but you can't read them until you fell asleep. (At least not that night)

Check out all the books you can get too...Look here..

Next week Ipad or Kindle....just kidding.

The Kindle has its advantages, but I love the bookstore and the smell of a new book.

Hi Kristen, I think so too.
Hi J.L, I know I could spend hours in bookstore. Wait, I have spent hours in a bookstore. I just couldn't give that up.

Of course, if you buy the Kindle you can ONLY buy books from Amazon. I got the Sony Reader - which opens up every source except Amazon.

I love it and currently have acess to about 36 books in my handbag. But I still have real books too.

All this is new for me and I have not really had time to check it out. I do love my books though so I am in no hurry.

I love my Kindle! I want to curl up in that book-filled library and read on the Kindle. I can have both that way. :)

Hi AJ, I have heard that too. With an Ipad by apple I heard you can download the kindle app and use kindle books as well. But I don't know.
Hi Siv, I am new at this too. So I don't know the best way to go. Until then I will continue to cart around my books.
Hi Laura, Doesn't that library look welcoming. I would join you in a heartbeat.
