Okay the weeds are starting to green up but there is still a lot of dead looking stuff. I guess I need a closer look....
Wait that looks purple. Maybe...
Yes, the red bud tree is in bloom.
And look what else I found...
Carolina Jasmine...I thought I caught its light fragrance on the wind.
The trees are just starting to bud out.
The wild dewberry vines are blooming. I've got to remember were these are, so I pick the berries later.
I'm not sure what this bush is, but the bees sure like it.
I think Spring is getting dressed and about to make her royal appearance.
Soon it will be time to take a ride to see the Bluebonnets and other wildflowers in bloom along the roadways.
AHHHH! Spring and right on time...

Wow! What beautiful spring flush!
Welcome spring! I can see why the bees like that last one....
I think you founds signs of spring!
Hi Al, I looked out the window and the dogwood tree is blooming now too. I got to grab my camera, I'm not as good as you are at taking pictures. But the only way to get better is to keep trying.
Hi Betty, On that last one the scrub is about 7 foot around and just covered with the flower clusters.
Hi Alex, Yes I think I found them and there are getting more everyday.

Rachna Thank you very much. Yes, Spring has arrived and she keeps getting prettier everyday...
Hi Deirdra, Our comments must have passed in the blog-a-sphere. I am glad you like my photos, and thank you so much for the award.
wow~ those flowers are so pretty. I love the yellow one especially~!! Yeah, I think spring is coming too~!!
Thank you so much for encouraging me. I will keep my blog up~!!
Oh, Pam, so lovely to see the first signs of Spring! We are watching the warm tones of autumn on this end of the world. There is something most lovely about these two transitional seasons.
Oh, I think that is a photinia bush (with the tiny white flowers - and bees). They are prolific and hardy plants - have had at least one in every garden in every place I have ever lived! And the pollen is thick from them. Ah-chooo.
And a dogwood in bloom, too, I see from your note above - oh, lovely lovely lovely!
Sangy, You are most well come. I had a lot of people encouraging me, so I am more than willing to pass it along.
Lori, I think you are right about the bush *AH-CHOOO*
But it is pretty. The bluebonnets are in bloom too. I will try to get some good pictures for you. I know you probably miss them, being a Texas girl and all.
